Tuning Shops??

Dustin from the former TRT
I am still pissed at him for costing me a motor in my GTP (disabled the KNOCK SENSORS without telling me costing me a 4500 dollar engine (allthough 2k was the transmission that went with it) and killing a head on the WS6 from too much timing. Aside from the fact that the car made 50rwhp less than it did from the tune from RPM.

EZ killer. This was what I was refering to.
The experienced tuner who spends the most time on a car.
Tuning on the dyno is basically getting the timing and A/F on spot.
As far as the rest it is all about driving it... watching the STFT, LTFT, O2's, timing, EGT's, IAT's, and driveability.
More time with a wideband = better tune..... as long as the competent tuner knows what to look for.
I would rather go to someone who has every credit and has done hundreds of cars vs someone who just bought HPTuners or EFILive etc. Half the battle may have already been won and all they need to do is tweak for your specific mods.
