The only thing I have seen from LMR is that they now build six speeds. I have heard nothing of a merger.

Default Merger

THIS WAS POSTED ON SEPT 9 IN THE SPONSOR SECTOIN........--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It is with great pleasure that we are able to announce that starting Monday September 15, 2008, Six Speeds Inc. is merging with Late Model Racecraft.
Here is how this is going to work which will benefit ALL customers and Six Speed Enthusiests:

Any customers from September 9th and prior will continue to deal with me on a personal level. If you have a deposit for a core, we will be refunding the core charge and you will stay on the list as you currently are. All deposits and payments starting today will go to Late Model Racecraft.

Any customers from this point forward will deal with Late Model Racecraft on everything. You will still talk to me about customer service, parts and transmission rebuilds.

Late Model Racecraft will have both of our builders (Scott and Joe) there full time.

For those customers wondering how this transition will effect them, here is how we plan on working any new customers or prior customers.

1. Warranty Information: Joe and I will continue to offer our 1 year warranty. Instead of LMR dealing with a warranty issue, you will contact Joe or myself. Telephone numbers will be provided at the end of this statement.

2. Customers with outstanding transmissions due: We will be shipping any customer that has a transmission due from Six Speeds within the next 2 weeks. That means if you ordered off of our website before we discontinued the ordering process, you will have a transmission shipped to you within the time frame stated. If you shipped a transmission to us and have not yet paid, LMR will be dealing with all payments. If you shipped a transmission to us and have already paid, please contact me directly at 832-488-0533 and we can discuss the time frame it will be.

3. What about our customer service: Guys, I will be making the transition from Six Speeds to LMR. The plan is for me to assist them for the first month to make sure everything moves along smoothly, after that will be depending on how things work. I will still be available for customer service issues and tech support on the telephone number I am providing below.

We are trying to make this transition as smooth as possible. That is why we are asking all current customers to continue dealing with me on a personal level. Any new customers will get the same customer service and same product, just in a more timely fashion (Which I know most of you are jumping for joy). LMR has taken the time to try and stock what they are going to need.

All emails and telephones starting Wednesday September 10th will be forwarded to me. You will be reaching me on my cellular phone thru Monday September 15, 2008 and then they will be forwarded to LMR. I will be available to answer any questions you guys might have.

I am asking that no one post in this thread as this is for information purposes only. All questions, tech support or just all out information contact me at the following:

Amber- 832-488-0533

Remember this is going to benefit everyone!

Thank You,
Amber
