I know I'm digging this topic out of the past but I bought that exact ratchet today off the snap-on truck $75. Also had a 3/8 drive with screwdriver style plastic handle that was about 10 inches long.

Thumbs up

I got an SK 43875 this week from a 3rd party vendor. It came with problems though. It would switch from clockwise to counterclockwise or disengage altogether just turning it by hand. Sent an email to SK. Had a reply within ten minutes saying they needed my address to send me a free rebuild kit. Another 10 minutes after I replied, they sent me an email saying the kit was processed. It came a day and a half later, free!

Edit: I love this ratchet!

I have a TM737. I love that thing. I think mine was about $70. I bought it last summer.

I now have a
Great Neck 18098 (their 3/8" version is apparently 28098)

And a
Snapon TM737

I don't know which I like, but the Snap-On one broke quickly.

I like those rachet's but the older version with the plastic handle was better, IMO. That newer "cushioned" handle bugs the crap out of me for some reason.

I don't even like the plastic handles. I prefer just the metal handle
