Default Anyone know a good cold tanking solvent?

I want to cold tank some parts in my garage. I bought a "parts cleaner" from autozone and it doesnt clean at all. Does anyone know anything good?

Please name the parts, type of materials used in their construction and what you are trying to remove from them.

alright. example - aluminum cylinder heads and intake manifold.

what would you use to clean that?

Varsol works well on Aluminum.There are plenty of more out there.Stay away from the caustic (acid) cleaners,or it will ruin your parts (Al.).

Good Luck......That stuff is hard to find..... Varsol...... not solvent

Wash with solvent to rid of oils then off to the glass bead cabinet with everything before I do any work.
Makes it nice and clean!!!
