Is there a "better" tool now for pulling the balancer pulley? I've read a lot of search post, and some say use the chrysler tool, some say the three jaw puller, etc.
What is everyone using now?

The "Chrysler" tool is also the GM tool, it comes with different length rods to fit a few applications. I believe that it's the tool that is intended for GM's also...I haven't looked at mine in a while, but I'm pretty sure that it's made by OTC if I remember correctly.

i used a small/medium three jaw puller. the wrong size wont work bc you cant get it into the center of the balancer, i know bc i bought a new one just for that and it was too damn big. i think it was like an 8 inch puller. i had a smaller one laying around and it seemed to be perfect. although the bigger one may have worked around the perimeter, i wanted one to grab the inner ears like it was designed for. like maybe this 6 inch version.
