What Jack Are You Using 
i figured this topic would get more action here. But Russ or anyone else who thinks this should be moved then go ahead..But what jack are you all using? Where is a good place to buy one?
I would like to know too... mine always crap out so I'm stuck with either a broke one or little crappy ones.. maybe I'm just cheap... I want to get a good one and never worry about it again..
There is a Tools & Fabrication section you know...if you'd search you'll find that it has been discussed in there multiple times.

i had no idea there was section called that. I pretty much stay in the appearance section, Internal/External, midwest, classifieds and thats about it I've had a Craftsman jack since I was 13 when I had my Camaro.

It's nothing fancy but it does the job. Sometimes I have trouble getting it under my T/A though, but I've always seemed to make it work

You should check it out from time to time - lots of great tool discussion, ideas, etc. for how to do projects. A thread in there is what steered me towards the AC Hydraulic Jack - it is a pricey SOB, but I'll be damned if it hasn't been the biggest time saver of any tool in my garage. I can reach (at an angle of course) the k-member with the car sitting on the ground (and my car is lowered ~1.5"), and I can go right around to the back and reach the pumpkin on the rear to jack the back end up. No more of this side-to-side jacking bullshit I had to do with my POS Jeg's aluminum jack.

I agree though, I usually constantly check where the plate is while I'm jacking it up, just to be sure cause the damn thing is tiny 
I had been researched on floor jack thru few forums/consumer reports/others. I hope so, I made choose the best jack lif-up>> Arcan XL35.
