Default stainless to steel??

what can you use to weld stainless steel to steel tubing i have a set of tips from a b&b but i need to hack it up to make it fit my corsa

any stainless welding wire will work, tig or mig. I would recommend ER309 stainless wire and tig weld it. Just make sure everything is really clean before you start and you will be good to go.

was gonna say use stainless rods and TIG weld it will be fine.. do that pretty often here

309 is the correct filler to use. Use it every time to join stainless to mild steel.
Isn't a Corsa made of stainless. Should be considering the cost....

im not hacking the corsa up im hacking the B&B tips up since there are made where the inlet is offset to the inside and the corsa is made to come out the center of the opeing in the ta bumper i am having to make new y pipes for the B&B tips so the will slip on like corsa tips

i was going to ask the same thing. just got some stainless headers/y but my cutouts are mild steel.

i know but i have a mig welder and i was wondering if i could just get some wire and weld steel to it so i could make no y's to weld onto the tips
