I've used one of these for several years now with excellent results, I was just getting ready to order another one for my backhoe when I ran across a post showing this link http://www.accwhse.com/batteryt.htm . Model # 01991 is what I ordered, they are $20 cheaper then the place I was going to order it from.

Yep, they are about the best in my opinion. Haven't had one quit yet, can't say the same for the other brands I've tried.

when they ship VW's from over seas they use a solar powered batter tender on them, when they arive the techs just throw them away. If your car is outside and you know vw tech it may help you out on the free front
