Default Shopping for an Engine hoist

Hey guys, I'm currently shopping for a 2 ton engine hoist, preferably one that can be collapsed or folded up for storage purposes. I was wondering what one you guys are running. A few local guys are using the 2 ton from Harbor Freight and have had great luck with it. I've always been leery purchasing from Harbor Freight but it seems that it's a pretty decent hoist. I don't have any first hand experience with them so I was wanting to get some opinions.

It seems there are some things that are great to pick up at Harbor Freight and then others that you want to stay away from.

Thanks!

If you have a Northern Tool near you, they have a nice one. I have their 1 ton version and it works flawlessly and pretty damn nice construction at that. www.northerntool.com

I got a nice fold-up from Tractor Supply Company for about $130 on sale.

When you are comparing lifts make sure to look at the casters. Some have swivel casters on all four corners and some have fixed casters on the front. If you are working in a tight shop the fixed casters on the front can be a real pain in the back side.
