couple days work
This is a project a coworker and I have been working on for a few days now. Its a 47 ford cab-over that was originally built by the late Boyd Coddington in 1991. It originally had a 8.5 foot bed on it, but wasn't what the customer wanted. We have now extended the framework for the bed to 16 feet to hold either his indy car or 4 custom bikes. We also upgraded the suspension to air in the back.

we worked on it all day today, but didn't get any progress pics. We layed out the framework for the bed. It is 1.5" square tubing with some grid work where the tires will end up. We also started on the framework for the side panels that will cover up the frame on the sides. The inspiration for the truck was from a Dub model the customer saw in our showroom. Ill see if I can find a picture of the model.
here is the model. Our truck will look exactly the same, except for the sliding bed.
We are going to use 22s and 24s on the truck as far as we know so far, things do change as fabrication takes place.
