Default Balancer puller/installer

The question I have is that some of the puller kits say they will work on an LS-1. I was kind of confused, I didn't think there would be much of a difference. I have used them in the past, not on an LS-1 can someone please tell me if there is a difference?

Ive used a regular 6", 3-jaw puller to take them off, but your gonna have to get a piece of threaded rod to install them. I just bought one from a member here who makes them up. Pm me if you want his info-

The correct puller is listed as a GM/Chrysler puller. It has 3 arms and then 3 different length "sticks" that go into the end of the puller and bottom out in the hole o that no pressure is placed on the threads.

It's made by SPX/OTC and can be found at many of the discount tool providers that sell OTC.

As for installers, several people sell installers that wil work ranging in price from $25-$65 depending on wether they include a bearing and or shipping in the price.
