Default Where to get a tool to pull the pins out of the coil connectors.

I am in need of the tool to pull the pins out of the coil connector, any clue where to get one? I'm putting a two step in the car and I don't feel having a large enough hole in the firewall to pass the connectors through. I would like to take them off, feed the wires through, then put them back on.

Most pins can be removed with a straightened paper clip.

Use a straight pick. Like something the dentist would use. There is usually a very small metal flapper that acts as a retainer inside. When you slide the pick in, it will depress it and allow you to pull the clip out. Its springy so it will pop right back out. You will want to stick the pick in between the metal of the clip and the plastic of the connector. That will pry the flapper down. Once you figure out one, you can do a million.

You can get them at most auto parts stores. But most of the time a small straight screw driver will suffice.
