is it just me or does it look like it compresses 2 springs at the same time? if so that really will speed up spring removal and installations.

That looks pretty cool....but.... one stud to compress two badass dual springs may not be too cool.

Looks alot like Larrys tool but does 2 springs at 1 time,, nice. As long as the stud is sturdy thats a nice tool.

True. Better have a bad *** stud and engage plenty of threads.

A 1/4" stud, even if it's only Grade 2, still has a ultimate tensile capacity of over 2400#.

Should be fine even for Comp 977's that have over 400# open pressure.

That's a pretty sweet idea having it compress 2 at the same time. Wonder what the price will be.

I used a Grade 5 stud, and after changing all 16 to Crane doubles, the stud was noticeably bent, it's shot now...this was just with the stress of one spring at a time.

of course yours would be bent, you have a horrific angle when using the homeade spring compressor.

This thing looks superb. The stud will be parallel with the valve so it will compress straight down.

Id buy one if it were say 149.99

If anyone wants to know I got this from Vinci performance for $120.00 Orlando Florida. I was told that Crane has yet to release the full shipment of these tools because of not having the proper boxes for shipping.
