Default Scan tool?

Looking to pick up a scan tool. Found a couple Actron Scan Tool's that I liked. I was wondering which ones all of you were using and how you liked them. Looking to spend anywhere from $100-$200.

You might check out this website-

tunertools.com

I bought a scantool.net scan tool for my laptop for about $50

There is a lot of OBD software in the public domain too that will will work with the scantools.net ELM interface

You might also want to look at obd-2.net too

i considered buying a scan tool for a while. I only use it when i have a problem, and the local auto parts store lets you use there scan tool for free. so that stopped me from buying one. The actron tools are popular. and on mp3car they have some nice laptop software too.

I got Harbor Freight's top dog scanner. I got it on Ebay for like $70 although I believe it retails for over $100. Works fine. I scan everybodys car I can
