GEN IV valley cover? does anybody know the grade of the aluminium used to make the valley cover? or what filler rod should be used when TIG welding a hole closed. im asking this because i want to shave the PVC port/square block off and fill the small hole in, also i plan on polishing the cover when done.

If it is something else, (which is most likely) you can weld it with a 4043 rod.
