Default Need to get pressure gauge for mig welder.

I got a used welder that is perfect except the pressure gauge was smashed out. I thought I found the same one online and ordered it.

It has slightly different threads and i cant figure out what type of threads are on the regulator.
It doesn't match anything at the hardware stores.

Im guessing its metric because the reg says made in italy.

Any ideas?

This is the gauge I got : http://surpluscityliquidators.com/vi...uct/164450/281

It seems to be the same diameter as the reg but has diff threads.

Can you hook up the regulator to the gas cylinder? I'd be worried if it's metric and doesn't thread into the cylinder valve. You'd need a new regulator anyway.

Have a Hobart MIG Regulator, Model# 770198 on Mine (about $65) and it works great.

Check on ebay and get a flowmeter from HTP. They are inexpensive and work better than the regulator. Most regulators use 1/4 or 1/8 inch pipe threads for the gauges.

you need a gauge with NPT(national pipe thread). I looked at you're link and it didn't mention which type that one has, but if it is the same size but wrong pitch it is likely BSPT(britsh standard pipe thread).
