Default headlight adjustment...

anyone know if there is a tool i can buy to adjust how my headlights are aimed...?

no....i mean to actually change the direction the headlight is aiming...not to check where it is aimed....

All you need is a Torx bit. It's a T-15 if I remember right. Each headlight uses two threaded posts to make adjustments.

yeah...i had seen where to make the adjustments...just no clue as to what tool to use to change 'em.

Your welcome, you should be able to find torx bits at any autoparts stores or Sears. They even make them for screw drivers with interchangable tips.

I have a Headlight aiming kit that i bought from Snap On. they are way overpriced, but i am a prof. mechanic and snap on is the way to go. the kit just finds the concentrated part of the beam and then evenly distributes both on the road buy using measurements and adapters. same thing can be done on the wall at night. You can also use a 4 or 4.5 MM socket on a 1/4 drive ratchet or screwdriver handle to adjust them. one **** is up and down and the other one is side to side.
