Made this a couple years ago when I had to sell my toolbox. Was my first real woodworking project.





This is my current project. Need to bend some 4' wide sheet metal to make a bucket for a front end loader I'm building. Decided to make my own press brake for it.


bought like 5 sections of 1 foot rigid threaded electrical pipe (3/4 inch) with couplings and slide it over wrenches, breaker bars and ratchets...
if its too long I take a piece off yada yada yada

Aluminum- 1/2"
mild steel- 1/4"
stainless- 1/8"
The new design will be top die supports of two 1"X6" cr steel plates sandwiching the die, so strength is limited to the 40T of hydraulic force at this point. With upgraded hydraulics, capacities could almost double.
