I don't know much about the prices of Snap-On tools since I am no longer a pro...
Back in the late 70's they used to sell single wrenches for $35 bucks....in todays dollars that around $60...are they kidding - I can now buy a complete set made in China that are almost as good.... yeh polished chrome, thin and all that stuff...
In fact I saw a polished set of wrenches at Sams for $29 - it had seven meteric and seven SAE wrenches - looked like great stuff....granted it is not Snap-On but very close....I think these Snap-On guys should move their production to China and drop their prices by a multiple of three....
