Starting to Buy Tools
Also, are Ratcheting Combo Wrenches worth it? I liked them in tech, but not sure if they're worth the price?

yes ratcheting combo wrenches are defiantly worth it, especially while working on an f-body where most of the time space is limited. Since i started using ratcheting combos i rarely use my old school ones anymore unless they are on the back side of something im running an impact on. Once again just my .02
Has anyone heard of Armstrong? Its made in the USA and seems to be somewhat affordable.
Also, I'm looking into Proto Tools as well. They seem like really good quality items.
makita is a great buffer, we used to have those and dewalt or craftsman and we all preferred makita.
i really like cobalt stuff havent broken one yet but i do recommend making your ratchet a high quality one like someone said earlier
However I keep a few Harborfreight tools around as disposables. I needed a 17mm thin wrench once and didnt have it. Went over to HF pile of **** and grabbed a 17mm wrench I was willing to sacrifice and took a grinder to it to thin it down until it would fit.
They are the only tools out there that I know of that INCREASE in value after buying them. You can check ebay or craigslist and see people selling harbor freight tools for 2x what they cost at the store.
Milwaukee is my go-to for electric.
