Lift recommendations for shop
After a lot of research I bought a Bendpak xpr10. For a certified 10k it's the best option.
10k seams to be as heavy as you can get in a 12' lift, so unless you have room for a 14' tall lift I'd recommend checking out the xpr10.

As far as weight, a typical 3/4 ton crew cab is supposedly around 8,000 lbs. I work on a guy's long bed dodge crew cab with a Cummins. I don't remember if I've ever put it on the lift. It seems like the lift is usually occupied when I have that truck in the shop. I'd like to go weigh his truck though. I think a 10k lift is probably fine for a 3/4 ton crew cab as long as it doesn't have a bed full of equipment.
Benpak's 12k clear floor model is 14' tall. The extra height and capacity would be nice, but it's $2000 more than a 10k.
