Advice needed on power tool
Advice needed on power tool Hello, I need a battery operated power tool for automotive engine disassembly and reassembly. I.E. heads, intake manifolds etc. I have osteoarthritis in my thumbs so I need suggestions on the best power tool to make working on my car painless....thanks in advance.

Not likely you are going to get at the fasteners closest to the firewall (bell housing, rear intake, back header, etc.) but I have not worked on a 4th GEN so keep that in mind. I don't know what the torque rating is but it seems to do well on breaking smaller fasteners free (like M8 and lower). It's the 18 volt model. Another item that I have that really helped me in tight spots was Tite-Reach wrenches. www.tite-reach.com Very handy for working under the hood.

Since that day ive bought milwaukee everything and swear by there tools. The two best tools i have bought from them hands down is the 3/8 impact and the 3/8 ratchet. I abuse the hell out of the ratchet too, run it down until the motor turns off and then crank away on it to tighten the nut down. I also bought there ratchet impact gun, and while it doesnt have alot of power its very useful for tight spaces where you need to drive a self tapping screw in, or the 3/8 ratchet cant get it.
Plus the prices on the tools are half of what snapon is, and any home depot in america has them.
