I meant gear wrenches. Saved loads of time on the header install.

Yeah, I'm planning to buy a set before my next spark plug install. Having a set would have drastically reduced the time it took to get the passenger side coil pack rail back on.

I prefer the Craftsman ratchet wrenches. The handles are thicker and they don't cut into your hand like the Gear Wrench brand. Those are thinner and if you have to torque something with just a little bit of extra pressure, it makes your hand hurt.

get the reverseable ones, you will be a lot happier, and it will prevent your self from doing some thing stupid like trying to remove a flywheel bolt to locktight it because it keeps coming loose and getting the bolt out of the hole and haveing the bolt stuck threw the wrench and haing to pull the trans to get the wrench and bolt out...................not like i ever did somthing that stupid..............

Sears is the only place I've found with a 1/4" gear wrench; that solved a big problem for me today.

I got a set of the craftsman ones, they're great. the 10mm one is worth its eight in gold, when doing plugs on 99+ cars.

I've used them for many things... i will be buying another set for myself, as the set i bought was for my dad for xmas...

Those are very handy tools. I bought a set of five (8,10,12,13 and 14mm) craftsman gear wrenches while they were on sale. I got the set for $20. They helped so much during my cam swap for taking off the last bolt on the passenger's side coil pack, and the dreaded oil pick-up tube.

wow, $20 thats a steal.

I thought my 1/2 off for $35 for that set was good.

I would have had 3 sets for $20 a set

I love my gear wrenches. I do have some times with them..... BUT in some cases they are perfect and others would be troublesome! Either way I haven't found any places where they don't work well on my ls1 car.
