Default QuickJack

Anyone on here use QuickJacks for their 4th gen? What model are you using and how is the fitment and use? They're having a big one-day sale soon and the C8 owners love them, wondering if I can buy a size that would fit my firebird too or if the 5000TLX that's perfect for the C8 would be too long for the firebird?

I've thought about getting one at various times and I'm not sure they are good for much more than oil changes and tire rotations. Maybe there is enough room to drop a driveshaft or transmission.

My thought was with PNEUMATIC, it'd be both lighter, and faster to deploy than the steel hydraulic floor jacks, which are steel, heavy, and slow to deploy. and also shitty and chinese.
I would never trust it to HOLD anything, just a quick lift to stuff BLOCKS under.

QuickJacks ARE hydraulic, all steel and as far as I know, made in the USA. They have built in STEEL locking bars which can be locked at various heights. They are MUCH faster than a floor jack but they do take some time to set up under the car properly.

I joined a Facebook group for QuickJack and they're also popular with other C8 Corvette owners like myself, so I've seen a good bit of discussion about them. I still don't have my Firebird back from being fixed but I've been using two floor jacks, two wheel cribs from Race Ramps, and two flat-top jack stands to work on my C8. I never splurged for the QuickJacks and don't plan to. My garage is small which would make storage (even hung up on the wall) and deployment a hassle, and I've read about hydraulic issues a lot (although it is usually user error, whether suspected or confirmed). I'd recommend watching YouTube videos and talking to people in the Facebook group for QuickJack if you are on the fence about buying them. Supposedly they have good support if you have issues and I have seen the community in that group be helpful - a busted hydraulic line they'll usually replace for you but seems like a bleeding procedure takes care of a lot of hydraulic problems.
