looking for the opti socket
good luck finding one i looked every place i could think and nothing but since i need the car for the next day of work i drilled them out and when i went to put it back together i just used speaker screws and it worked out fine. but if you find one let me know so i can get one for next time

DON'T get the Snap-on, it's too short. go to www.impalasuperstore.com you can get them there or you can buy and entire kit. Opti (complete), socket, T8 driver, and ignition module or buy each of what you need. I bought mine at a wholesale store (made in Taiwan) in a set for $4.95. The brand name was MIT. If you have any flea markets in your area, go there.

ok, go to the web site above, click on superstore up top, on the left click ignition parts, go to page 2, half way down see the part "Torx. it the 2 tools you need for $23.95.

When all else fails, you can take one of the screws that holds the TB plate down and tighten it up in a pair of visegrips. The head of the inverted torx is it same size as the one you are trying to remove. Glad you found a tool, but this will work when your in a hurry.
