BluePoint (SnapOn brand):
short pattern: BOERS708 inches, BOERMS712 metric

They are very nice wrenches. When I need to get new wrenches, I'll go with those.

The Gear Wrench brand does too now I think & they are made by KD tools which I have always had good luck with. I got both a SAE & Metric set of the regular ratch wreches for $70....wait for all the xmas stuff to come out if you can...they package all sorts of stuff together & you can save a bundle...that's how I got mine. My gear wrenches have broken lose some pretty tight bolts too....I don't like using them on the really hard stuff but sometimes it's just the only wrench in reach.

I only know of one guy thats ever broke a gear wrench and he leaned into it pretty hard to do it. He showed it to our snap on guy and the snap on guy couldn't believe it he said he'd never had anyone break one before. yeah it was the KD brand gear wrench too. I'm not sure if blue points is tougher or not I don't think it could be much tougher.

Back when I used to frequent the snap on truck....our snap on guy told us that lots of the blue point stuff wasn't even made by them....not sure if it is true because I've seen the American Chopper where they make the snap on bike & tour the plant....but like everyone else, I'm sure they out source some of the stuff.....also, there may be patent issues so they just buy & rebadge them all from whoever started making them??? I'm not sure but I really like mine for the price...& I don't use them THAT much since I like sockets for the most part & air tools but they have served me well for the last 2 years & came with nice snap in tray holders...they are a bit bulky but at least I can take my time getting better trays for them.

I know snap on and blue point multimeter are made overseas Korea I think. I'm sure that their scanners and other such tools are the same way.
