Default Air Grease Gun... Ever Used One?

I'm looking at getting my dad an air powered grease gun for his birthday, to use on his equipment, but I'm a little unsure of how they work.

Are they all the same? Do they just pump air in when you pull the trigger and pump out the grease?

Anyone have any idea how well one would work connected to a 7 gallon portable air tank at 120psi? How long would it last?

Here's the one I'm looking at:

The price seems cheap (especially for IR), but is it worth it?

Anyone with any experience to share, I'd sure appreciate it.

I used them, they make it easyer than pumping the dam thing, make sure you buy him a nice quality 30" hose and ditch the 7" ridgid.

I have one it works great,i agree, get a hose to replace that metal tube. I dont think it would work all day with a 7-gallon air tank though, maybe get one whole semi truck lubed? i dont know what equp he works on

It would only need to be operated long enough to grease a tractor and brush hog, and sometimes a bulldozer. Everybody seems to like their air grease gun, so I'm going to look into getting him one.

Thanks

I have not seen any grease fittings on cars in a long time. I'm I missing something or are bulldozers and steam rollers the only exception here?
