Ok guys hows this for a starter kit?
Ok guys hows this for a starter kit? well, considering that I now have a job and will have my car in about 3 weeks time (fingers crossed) i'm going to spend a few bucks and get a toolset.
I've had my eye on this one for a while Torque wrench?
the tool set?
I'm not too sure about either one of these items is there something else I need? there's nothing I hate more than needing to go out and buy something when im in a hurry. I really know nothing about torque wrenches so any help is welcome. I'm just a 16 year old looking for some fun during the weekends with my new toy...

That tool set is an excellent choice for a starter set. I got that exact set a couple of months ago for about $140 so we could have some extra tools around the shop. The free box it comes with is pretty worthless in my opinion. Its better than nothing, but a small tool chest/box would be much much better.
I have the next model up Torque wrench from craftsman that goes to 250 #feet, and it's digital just like that one. I use it all of the time. When I assembled my engine in the garage, or putting on my tires, it's great.
That's a great tool kit as well, I would get a small toolbox (it doesn't have to be anything fancy) just to start out as well.

i just bought me a 254 pc. from sears and got a 14 pc nut driver set free with it too...ive been told its a great start...the torque wrenches are my ? as well lol
id say get a set of magnatized Screwdrivers as well...get some adj wrenches...some swivel heads for your ratchets and you good to go
