Snap-on tool year guide
Thought this might be interesting to those who haven't seen or know about it. Snap-on stamps all their handtools with a year date to identify when it was made.
I've used it several times to identify when a tool was made. There's a flea market about 30 minutes from where I live that has a booth that only sells Snap-on stuff for about 50% off. However, all of it is about 20 years old. Never been used though, it must have been surplus.
