How do u use the crane tool on the LT1. do you put it over the stud? and on the LS1 it just bolts into the holes the rockers bolted to? and there are two different part numbers for the lt1 and ls1 tool right?

There are two different tools, One for LS1 and one for all conventional SBC including the newer LT1. It slips right over two rocker studs and is held place by the rocker nuts, i think. I know the center section is thinner than the LS1 unit to accommodate larger diameter springs. Check the Vinci website on this forum!
