I've been looking at power inverters latley to use at the track sometimes. It would mainly have to run a 500 watt bottle heater and maybe a 2hp compressor at times. I've seen some great deals on 800watt inverters. Is this big enough, or would I need one of the really big ones. Any thoughts?

2hp compressor requires like 1400 watts arent bottle heaters 12 volts anyways? if you want to run a compressor you might want to consider a small generator.

Cool, I wasn't sure how much the compressor was, I didn't see anything written on it. I need a bottle heater to run in the pits and the 500watt+ AC ones heat faster. So I just want to park the car and plug it into my pick up between runs.
