cutting exhaust pipe Whats the best tool to use to make clean cuts on 3" 16 gauge stainless steel pipe? I used a pipe cutter before but it tuff to use that on the bends.

if you're doing this on a bench or in a shop a chopsaw is best.. followed closely by a REAL bandsaw.
if you're doing this on the car, a right angle grinder with a cutoff wheel, or a sawzall works good.... if its a really tight space, you may have to resort to the old disc-blades-on-a-chain style tube cutter.
You can also find 4 headed pipe cutters that make short work of cutting the exhaust. Oterwise use an angle grinder.
Chop saw is really the best, but out of reach for many folks. Ive used a bandwaw, but its always tought to get it started.

You can get a chop saw at Harbor Freight for like $50, that'll work the best. You'll just burn up blades using a sawzall on 304 stainless....it's REALLY hard ****. I use my disc grinder and cutoff wheels mostly though.
