Default JPR cam tool

i just got mine in the mail. I think it's absurd that they're charging people more than 40 dollars for these 2 pieces of metal, much less 85 dollar(edited).

I'm going to let as many people as i can borrow it for free, so they dont have to pay for it. Someone should rip this design off and send it to taiwan for reproduction.

Good Day.

LOL, I borrowed some from a friend for that same reason. But when i tried to install the them one didn't go all the way in. I couldn't force it in, so i tried to pull the cam with it half way in, and what do ya know "no go" . SO i pulled the left tool out and the cam came right out. Same thing happend on another Ls1 but on the right side??? So i might as well do it like i didn't my first LS1 WITH-OUT the lifter tools. Just have the new cam lubed and ready to go back in. Easiest money i have made in awhile.

I used a friend's. I had no idea the thing was $130. that's a lot of cash for what it is. Worked great though.

i got your pm..i'll send you pics and dimensions of it.

I kinda want to return it..but i what was i expecting? It's exactly what it looks like in the picture. It just seems so flimsy i could break it by hand. When i actually held the product in my hand i guess i realized that it's a ripoff.

And then we get these lame *** vendor threads where they are upset that people are replicating their product.

SORRY GUYS>>>>>PLEASE READ ON

i paid 85 dollars for it, not 130. I guess i was thinking of something else.

I guess i feel better since i only paid twice what it's worth.

2 aluminum rods..should be titanium at least.. hehe

My buddy is making them out of SS not Alum....
Alum can gall and go into the engine,Joes desing was flawed becuase GM used different lifters after 02 and the tool doesnt fit...

Talon WS6 was the inventor of the toll not JPR he stole Talons idea
Contact QTP Barry and he can get u in touch with Tommy,He makes the revised tool.

It doesn't go in the heads, it goes in the front of the block.

I wouldnt tell anybody that I spent that much on those rods. I spent .80 cent I believe for a 4' wooden 5/16 dowel rod and cut it in half for two 24" pieces. They just slide in without a fuss.
