I have a 18V Snap-on and works like a champ. Never had any issues with it.
Makita is also a good brand for cordless impacts and drills. I have the smaller size battery ones and I like them too. No problems. I dont have any experience with the other brands.

I have the 12v snap on #CT310, with a slightly modified to fit 18v battery. I dont know if the 18v battery was the cause but my trigger/switch did go out. I personally blame the 18v battery.
But I love mine.

The New v28 milwaukee impact has a Lithium Ion batt. It's the BEST on the market for runtime and torque. So far....nobody else offers this technology mainstream. They also have a full line of other cordless tools like an awesome portable bandsaw...kick ***! Check it out....it's about the same as a dewalt but way better. IMO

I think snap on electric impacts are overpriced.
dewalt and makita do anything a snap on impact does. Infact I think Milwaukee batteries happen to fit snap on electric impact..... put 2 and 2 together and figure who acutally makes snap ons impact![Winky](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_wink.gif)
The snap on one is good, but oversized. I guess its handy to have the snap on if the tool guy comes every week, you don't have to go anywhere if you have a problem with your tool.

The Snap On is high but worth it. I train techs how to use bodyshop equipment.I bought a snap on 5 years ago, in late 2001. I use it almost everyday, and at least 3 or 4 techs use it each week, and those guys are like 5 thumbed gorillas, sometime i think they try to bust it up on purpose. It has been dropped so many times, i am sure if it was a turd, it would shot craps long ago, and it works everytime. Sometimes it's used for 4 or 5 hours a day 5 times a week. Never left me hanging. The onlything i had to do was replace a battery once in 5 years.
My boss, who is the smartest guy on earth, has a dewalt, uses it very rarely, and it's broke twice. I like the dewalt because it's smaller, but i would never buy anything else but a Snap On, just my opinion.
