who has a powder coating system?

I have a Powder Coating shop. Our guns are top of the line Nordsons and are easy to use with all of the adjustable settings. Most guns have a flow **** for the powder and a **** for the air. The powder/paint goes in a hopper with a air diaphram in the bottom. You run air into the hopper and it will fluidize the powder for easy flow to the gun.
Anyway you can adjust most guns to spray very light or heavy. Grounding the part is important, you will need a good charge for the powder to cling. I think you will find it very easy! Blast your parts if you can in a blasting cabinet for best results. I would look for low temp curing powders if you are using an old oven. You can mix acetone with powder for liquid color match chip repairs. Lots of info can be found here if you surf the site. cya
