Default 1/2" impact gun, which do you use?

thinking of getting an IR Titanium, is it worth the money?

Yes, yes, and yes.
Shop around though. I bought mine at a close out from a shop on ebay and saved about $80 which made it only slightly more expensive than a less powerful gun.
I am very impressed with its capacity

Cant go wrong with an IR 231 or the updated Ti model...

I use the IR Ti and love it. torquey and light. Got mine for $200/ free shipping through the Ford Rotunda tool program from work.

I second the IR231 guns. I have used mine for years and it still works like a charm. I have abused it plenty doing heavy front end suspension work too.

i put a 2cm crack in a 30mm Matco impact socket with this thing. Matco guy didnt believe it. and the air motor has a LIFETIME warranty.

i have a very old IR 231 here at the house that still doesnt miss a beat. for heavy everyday work go with a IR ti 2135 1000ftlbs of tq. just be carefull it WILL break bolts

I have the 2135 TI and i use it everday at the gm dealership. it is very fast though, so you have to be careful when taking out bellhousing bolts and other things like that. But other than that its great, I took lug nuts off of a school bus that were put on with a 1in impact.

I have a milwaukee v28. It is nice being cordless and have ample power to turn any bolt or screw you need.

actually i had 2 snap on's and i have to say.. i got tired of them breakin and being wiht out an impact for 3-5 weeks so i bought a cheap stanly <walmart 69 bucks> and i have to say even tho.... its the best 1/2 inch impact i have owned
