Nice. Nice.

$6500.00 Is that why you keep the pee shooter up there to repel the baddies??

Love the new toy.

Your crapsimizer is not bigger. Does yall's mama know your playin on the computer again? Grow up! 6500.00 is a little less than half of retail. This is not a toy to put in your moms garage boys. It is a huge tool box made to house tens of thousands of dollars of tools for the professional technician.

mfer I think your the one who needs to grow up. If you didn't want people to comment on the price then don't post it. I run the Snap On Classic Series boxes which house my tens of thousands of dollars in tools... I paid $1700 out the door for each of my Classic 78 Boxes.

I can't believe I'm thinking about locking a thread in the *gasp* Tool section. C'mon, be civil in here.

I love my little Matco box. I'd love to replace all my Crapsman boxes with Matco, but for just a hobbyist, it's too much. But if I turned wrenches for a living, you betcha I'd have a tank of a box.

It may be a nice box but, why? Does it hand you the tool you need? does it have voice recognition? Does the box come with at least some tools? If not, I just can't see it being worth $6500. It's a big steel dresser with a few more drawers. Also, I realize that the craftsman box may be crap somehow but, you could buy 6 of these http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/produ...seBVCookie=Yes for one Matco. maybe I'm just a cheap ***? I dunno?

part of the reason why that tool box cost so much, is the fact that tool box probably weights close to 1200lbs empty. Matco tool boxes are some of the best on the market. They actually drop test their boxes

Well, it's about build construction as well as real estate.

The Craftsman box there is only 18" deep. That becomes a serious problem when you start trying to pack your large prybars, breaker bars, and bigger torque wrenches in there. They have to sit at an angle in the drawer and make things weird. His Matco box is 25" deep, but it also has super-wide drawers, so you can indeed hold all the funky tools.

Craftsman for the home wrencher is fine, IMO. But if I were a full time tech, you bet I'd have a box built like a tank. Remember also, that techs leave their tools at work, and the box is their "safe". When you have $15k+ in your own tools sitting in your toolbox at work, you don't want it to be easily opened by someone else at night.
