Think it would be possible to shorten the ebrake handle by about 3-4 inches? I want to mount something and it gets in the way when i have it down...
how would i go about such a thing?

You'd have to cut a section out of the metal handle and weld it together. If you plan on keeping the cover, I don't know how you would easily shorten that. The linkage would also have to be played around with.

Just make sure you get a thread of equal color and material as the original stitching. If you're not confident that you can stitch this, since it may require a hook shaped needle and complicated stitch, you can have a professional do it.
