Hotcoat Infrared powdercoat system
So I have quite a few things that I'd like to get powdercoated (calipers, suspension parts, tb, etc.) so I figured I'd look into maybe doing it myself.
I came across the HotCoat Infrared powdercoat cure system on the Eastwood site HERE
Has anyone used an infrared system like this?
I think it would work out very well for me.
How long would it take parts to cure?
Such as LCA's, TB, Valve covers, etc.

Home powdercoating works great, you can either use a ordinary household oven, or a propane infrared heat lamp to cure it, it does not take long at all, it is best to sandblast the parts and use acetone or similar to clean the parts before applying the powder. There are several companys online that have tons of different colors of powder, and there are different types such as translucents and candies. I dont think I can post the link here, just google powder coat. Craftsman has a nice gun too it has its own air supply.
good luck with it,
