I'm trying to decide between the American Forge low profile jack and the Omega low profile jack. Decisions, decisions, decisions

Steve,

Did you find any better than 535 plus shipping on that DK13HLQ?

I'm all about getting nice stuff, but ouch! :o

Nope...mine was ~$555 to my door with the rubber saddle pad. I don't know of anyone else that sells these jacks for any less, and the guy I bought it through wasn't going to be carrying them much longer.

That said, I'd gladly pay that amount again for the use I get out of it along with the quality.

Bummer! It sure looks like a nice jack, but I gotta think it over for a little bit longer .

Thanks for the reply.

You could always get the Chinese knockoff of the AC.

This is the one I have. I've used the AC when working for the rally team. Functionally, they're both the same. The AC has nicer fit and finish and a nicer handle.

I've been looking at that Ranger unit myself
Since you've handled both, maybe you can help me out.

You can see my thread about both of them HERE

It seems the chassis Ranger goes up in height right away, approx. how tall is it at it's tallest point?
Does it ramping up like that right away vs. the AC unit which does not cause any problems?
