Default Front Air-Splitters and Rear Diffusers

anybody have pics or sites on how to make front air-splitters or rear diffusers on a 4th gen? I was thinking about making the air-splitters in front out of aluminum and painting them body color. And the diffuser seems like a good idea. My friend says his cousins SS feels like its starting to float when he gets around 135-140mph. Anybody elses feel like its floating when they take it up that fast? I've only taken mine up to 115 and it felt pretty solid.

I've had mine over 140 and it felt fine. In fact, it felt as solid at140 as it does at 70. The quick ratio steering is a little touchy, but other than that, it drives great. I personally think it feels is best about 100-110. That is my normal cruising speed here in Germany on the autobahn. The shocking thing is it gets 22-23 mpg at that speed.

this is part of my summer project. I think it will help a little. 4th gens feel iight at higher speeds, but couldnt hurt to add/remove airflow in the right/wrong places

Doesn't sound like a bad idea... but mine's felt pretty stable all the way up to about 150. Cruising at 160 it seems to float just a hair. While you're at it... get a spoiler with some downforceif you're worried about all that... the 3 piece should do a good job.

Lowering the car with some good springs/shocks and such will do a lot of improve high speed handling. My car feels solid bouncing off the speed limiter (162mph). Adding aero bits like you mention would only really be necessary at very very high speeds I would think. They'd help regardless, but I wouldn't consider them necessary.

haha my car feels BETTER at over 120 than it does at 80 or so. Somewhere around 120 my car (87 TA) feels like it hunkers down and becomes rock solid. I think I remember reading something about the 3rd gen birds having great aerodynamic properties, and Im pretty sure the 4th gen cars are on par as well.

I dont really go taking corners at 140 tho...so who knows what would happen then. haha
