getting oil out of concrete
Muriatic acid mixed 50/50 with water for us hardcore dirty guys. Let it soak for 15 minutes and hit with a 30* nozzle on a 3000psi pressure washer. Dont use a less degree tip than that at the higher psi. You will cut into the concrete.
There was some stuff I got from my local Do-It Center store. It was citrus based, so it smelled like oranges. You would put this stuff on over the stain, then let it dry, which took about 8 hours. It dried to a powder, then you just swept it up and the spot was gone. It went on sort of thick, but it still pours right out of the bottle.
I can't remember what it was called now, but if you looked around I'm sure you can find it in Home Depot or Lowes.

Brake cleaner will work allright. But will probably also stain.
Best thing to do is head to Pep Boys, and get some "Purple Power". It's their generic degreaser/cleaner.
Works awesome, that's what we use at the shop. Just dump some on the floor, and spray some water over it. Grab a push broom and work the floor. Now just squeegee it out.

I wouldn't touch Muriatic acid, I could only see using it as a last resort. That stuff is very dangerous and toxic, not worth it to get a stupid stain off the floor.
i saw a product at the hardware store the other day, you pour it on an oil stain, and leave it there.. it then absorbs the oil, then turns into a powder that you can sweep away.
not sure how well it works, but i almost bought it.
i usually use lestoil and powder soap to clean up oil stains

I'm with pitbull, there are very very few non toxic cleaners that work worth a darn. Muriatic acid is not like it will eat your hand off as soon as you touch it . be carefull with it and use alot of water to dilute it into the gutter, it will actualy help clean out your steets drain pipes.
