Ebay Spark Plug Wrench and Socket
I have done a lot 
seriously a lot........... of plug & wire changes. Normally while doing headers or heads, and have never used one. I have had one available, but can't see where it would be helpful. It actually looks like it would make the job harder.

You need a stuby flex head wratchet and several different size extentions. A regular spark plug socket and a flex head one helps.

I noticed it was on an old school sbc also. I've changed plugs quite a few times and my arms look like they have been through a blender every time, just seeing if this would help.
Normally cut up your arms on the underside of the cowl. This won't help that. You won't even get that wrench in #1 (front driver side) or #8 (rear passenger side)plug area, just off the top of my head. Probably have trouble with the whole passenger side now that I think about it.
That one is too long, I have one, it was useless. I found a
stubby version on sale at Sears that is OK once the plug is
freed up. A plug socket, universal joint and 3/8 ratchet
gave me the freedom I needed for that. A swivel head
would be nice, that's one I don't have. The u-joint is kind
of the same thing only more floppy.
