just go to your local autozone or advanced and you can get a stand for cheap. Your best bet for a cherry picker is to barrow one, cause any good one isnt cheap

I bought a cherry picker and an engine stand used, in good shape from a pawn shop. They are both heavy-duty (fairly) and I paid about $115 and $70 respectively. I live in a city of a little over 300,000 population and I've only found one pawn shop that deals with things like this. There may be more, but after I found a source, I stopped looking.

Pep Boys has a Torin foldable one on sale for $100 after a $50 mail in rebate. I may be off by $20 or so, but it is close to that. I am gonna pick one up today or tomorrow.

Did not get a chance to pick it up, but try this link:

A better idea might be to go here and enter your zipcode, then look at the sales flyer:

Let me know how it works out for you.

Edit: You can go to this website and see sales ads in sunday papers without buying them, just found it, seems cool. http://www.sundaysaver.com/

I've got the Summit folding stand and cherry picker. Both are quite nice for the money (paid $300 plus shipping for both).

I had a bad experience with a cheap one a few years ago, and I ended up building a beefy set. but I would suggest looking around to see who would have one you could borrow or possibly rent... local auto shops or something

Definately borrow or try renting one if you can. It's nice to have but takes up alot of space when not in use.
