Semi-deep Sockets

Semi-deep Sockets I am considering buying a set of chrome semi-deep sockets, metric 3/8 drive. Lately it seems like these semi-deep sockets would fit everything I am working on. I know this is a popular depth for impacts but does anyone have a chrome set that they find useful and are glad they invested in?
I have both 1/4 and 3/8 semi-deeps from Snap-On and love them. With these you only need one set. No need to buy shorts and deeps they seem to work well for everything. Granted I am sure you will need shorts once in a while for the clearence and will need full deeps to get over long studs and such but they are probably one of the best investments I have made, from Snap-On anyways. At the time I bought mine they were the only company i think that was making them. I am sure other companties are making them by now. Mine are chrome by the way.

Thanks for your information and opinions. I am looking specifically at the snap-on set. I figure these sockets will get the most use, and I can rely on my craftsman shallow and deep sockets when needed. Thanks again.
