I can say this much; this section has very little active moderation, besides me dropping in. I specifically know who YOU are from welding web. Unless you posted ****, graphic violence, or directly offered or solicited business that infringes on sponsors, I dont give a ****. So again, I call it operator error.

The only reason people do mild steel over moly ... Let's face it! It's cost.
I am not a DIY er. Am a do it all guy. Can't afford an acdc tig rig at the moment. But I can afford to put a good American made mig rig "Hobart 187". You can build a hella safe fairly light car with a Jd squared bender and that rig.
I lied too I can't sew for sh#t. An old friend of mine mother is a retired seamstress. She does my seats and door panel stitching. I would love to be able to pay a race car shop 6k to moly and tig me up. Own all door cars just rather put my money elsewhere. Not running a six second car.
