tool grade steel...your probably going to need to TIG it. Otherwise you may burn up the bearing.

you need a supply of old rockers...buying new ones would be too costly. A few old tools...not to much. But there is a bit of labor. I wouldnt even consider making them unless they went for over $100. Wouldnt be worth the time and effort. Its not like you would be making mass quantities to make up for the small profit.

If anyone wants one just let me know and Ill see what Brandon can do.

This should work for the larger springs also...but I believe we are going to make one specifically for the 1.43-1.46 od springs.

Woah! What kind of spring where you using the More tool on? Aluminum shavings? Yeah...I guess I can see that would be a PITA.

Well..I can tell you this design works excellent, no aluminum shavings, and has great acces to the locks..as you can see.

Stock removal, no problem.
918 install...problem, the ends kept coming off one side or the other of the Ti Retainers, and then sometimes, center itself to far forward or rear, pushed one valve down too far, had to rotate crank to get it back in the guide. Damn POS.
Your looks much easier, nice fulcrum and E-Z access to locks. When we ready to ship??? Next payday is 15th!

I'm interested too...one question though, it looks like you have to keep pressure down with one hand on the ratchet and the manuever your retainers and locks into position with the other. Is that correct? Or is there a rest position with the spring compressed?

Dave, yes, you have to maintain the pressure on the ratchet to keep it depressed.

BTW, I believe I will be ordering two of these, we ruined both Moore tools, still useable but I really am uncomfortable with aluminum shavings floating around the engine and tired of fighting the fulcrum point!
Spring change with tools in state of repair, under 2hrs. Cant wait to see how quik w./ two of these bad boys!!!
