Default Taking KOBALT tools back to LOWES

I went to take the 13mm and the 15mm ratchet wrenches I broke last night back to Lowes and I couldn't take back just the 2, I had to have the whole set. She said to bring back the whole set and they would give me a new set. I thought they would just trade the 2 some way.

Good luck. didn't Lowes try to peddle Kobalt tools with their "No Hassle" tool exchange? I think I have that on a package that I saved somewhere.

do yourself a favor and get the GearWrench ratcheting wrenches. You should be able to warranty them at Lowes, Sears and NAPA.

Thats true but I was trying to stay with Made in the USA. But your right about trading at the other stores.

If you like the Kobalt USA made tools, see if you can find a store that carries teh Allen (Danaher) brand. Allen made the tools for Kobalt anyway. If you have a Menards in your area, they generally stock a bunch of Allen branded tools.

That's kind of strange, they sell individual wrenches?

go to store, buy set, pull broken wrench in the new package, exchange "set", than return the exchange set using the purchase receipt.

PITA but corporate rules suck.
Chances of you trying to explain it to them is like black magic too, so don't try.
