Default mini electric saw

looking for some input on a good sawzall that is small

has anyone used the B&D mini handsaw for cutting small metal on a car?
what worries me is that its only like 6v

i would prefer not actually, if that same saw was 120 i would buy it

no, but if it gives me a reason to get one, all the better

but the best would be 120v

Well there are very small sawzalls that are air powered and work amazingly, some do 10,000 strokes per minute!!!
If you going to cut sheet metal get a B&D jig saw thats what i use, its about 2 years old, and 4.6 amps 120v and cuts through sheet metal like butter.
If your going to be cutting like tubing, frame rails, heaver stuff look into a sawzalls. Milwaukee makes a great sawzall, its 120v 11AMPS!!! and 99$ at Lowse/home depo.

ive been happy using a regular 110v with a bunch of attachments... more power and no messin with batterys... and an air cut-off assists in anything..

the small air saws are great for sheet metal.

the small one would be good for the tight spots but I have been using a craftsman for 5 years now and won't think twice about getting another one. the abuse I have given it and it still works flawless. The only thing I would change is the blade hold down. I like the quick release better.
