Air compressor problem(and a bit of a funny story)
Air compressor problem(and a bit of a funny story) So found a decent sized air compressor on the side of the road. Picked it up.
did a quick check fired it up, all seems to work fine. But seems like it gets to a point and doesn't build pressure. Only played with it for like 5 min.
Came inside to do a search on it and found this...

LOL, the guy is in FL, and posted that 2 weeks, ago, EXACT compressor and EXACT problem. So I think I got his compressor.
Any ideas of what it could be? Compressor itself? Regulator?

That's easy. The compressor runs and won't make more than 30 psi. If the intake filter isn't completely clogged, then it either needs rings, valves, pistons, new cylinders, or new heads.
